Little hotel, staff always really kind! Beautiful rooms with the loveliest balcony view, and great restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed being there. The hotel was quiet little and the location was marvellous and excellent very close to the restaurants, the church, the surrounding neighbourhood and the river across the road, and the historic centre...

The room here is neat and lovely, plus the bathroom is spotless. And all of that for just US$43! 😊 the staff are super friendly and always ready to help out.

This place is a unique and cozy hotel in a peaceful location, very close to the old town area.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent. The room wasnice and neat, with a lovely view of the church and old town. The location was perfect, right next to the river and a short walk from the tourist area. The staff treated us like family and provided great recommendations for things to do and places to eat.

The only thing that could have made breakfast better would be to add more variety to the baked goods.

With its close proximity to nature and its picturesque views of the church and the river, it offers a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. the rooms are well-appointed and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. the breakfast is satisfying and generous, served in a cozy breakfast room. the friendly hosts provide exceptional service, giving valuable advice and making guests feel at home. the location also allows for easy access to other walks and the high part of the city.

The noise from neighboring rooms can sometimes be disruptive.

Our stay at Hostal De La Luz was fantastic! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the river and a beautiful view of the church from our window. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who gave us great advice on what to do in Cuenca. Despite some minor drawbacks such as thin walls and limited English spoken, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for a nice experience in Cuenca.

The location was jaw-dropping! Right next to the river in an authentic neighborhood. The room had a mind-blowing view of the church and old town. The hosts were super kind and gave great advice. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and had delicious breakfast. We'd definitely go back!

The breakfast at Hostal De La Luz is basic but tasty, made with love. the staff is friendly and helpful, despite the language barrier. the interior is beautiful and authentic, making you feel at home instantly. the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. the view from the rooms is incredible, overlooking the iglesia de la virgin de la luz and the rio Jucar. the location is great, with easy access to la cuidad alta and other walks.

Felt almost like at home, no complaints whatsoever.
